The name of this application, Watermark Software, clearly hints at what its main functionality is. It’s a tool to apply watermarks to images. It can be used to protect your photos against unauthorized copying, usage, and distribution.
Watermark Software can apply both text and image watermarks to your photos, which means that it can also be used to add transparent logos to pictures. The position of the watermark, as well as its size and other various settings can be easily configured to your liking. Anyway, it’s not only a photo watermarker. It also provides additional image editing functions and features. For example, it allows you to add frames to photos, crop photos, resize and rename them. Batch renaming multiple photos at once is also possible, and so is editing of the the EXIF metadata of images. As you can see, it’s a comprehensive tool that offers a lot of handy additional possibilities. One of the best things about it is the fact that it can add watermarks to large batches of photos, at the same time, saving you a lot of precious time.
The only downside of Watermark Software is, in my opinion, the fact that it could be simpler to use, especially compared to other photo watermarking tools. Though it comes with a wizard-like interface, there are some small aspects that could confuse beginners. For example, the fact that the users have to press the “Save layout” button before being able to get to the final step of the photo watermarking or editing process is one of the things that might be a bit confusing about this tool, especially to inexperienced users. Anyway, it’s a reliable photo watermarking tool that comes with a lot of handy additional features and a pretty reasonable price too.
